Amit Anand is a well-known personality in the Asian startup ecosystem. He is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Jungle Ventures, a Singapore-based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage startups on the cusp of innovation. Amit has more than twenty years of experience in the Asia-Pacific region working for both startups and large corporations. He has worked across various roles in Product, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development, which has given him a unique perspective into the entrepreneurial journey.

Amit is an alumnus of the National Centre for Software Technology, where he completed his Advanced Post Graduation. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology. His passion for entrepreneurship has led him to become a Kauffman Fellow and preside as Vice-Chair on the Board of Business Angels Network South East Asia (BANSEA). Amit is also a member of the Advisory Council for Ethics in AI & Data by the Singapore Government.

Amit's professional journey started as a Senior Systems Engineer at Tata Infotech before moving on to roles like Product Specialist at elipva Ltd, Business/Market Development Manager at Progress Software, and Director-Sales- Asia Pacific at Fiorano Software Inc. He also served as the Founder/ CEO of Ettamina Studios during this period.
