Delores Elder-Jones is a highly experienced professional who has dedicated over 20 years of her life to the Garland community. She has served at many levels, including as an educator for almost 15 years at Richland College, budget analyst for Dallas County, and provided leadership in several community organizations. Elder-Jones has a master's degree in City and Regional Planning from The University of Memphis. Her skills include community outreach, event planning, budget and financial analysis, and photography.
Elder-Jones has been an integral part of the Garland community for decades, actively working to represent and enrich its diverse population. She is widely known for her strong relationships with various communities in Garland, and her contributions are evident in the diverse programs and services she has spearheaded over the years.
Elder-Jones wants to leverage her expertise and love for people to help Garland prosper in terms of attracting people and businesses to the city. In her words, she wants to make Garland "a place that people want to live, and a place where companies want to do business."
