CAP Minería is the main iron ore producer on the Pacific American coast and exporter of 99% of the mineral in Chile.• Created the Digital Transformation (TD) department and then promoted to lead the Innovation, TD and Information Technology departments, in addition to the Studies, PMO and Cultural Transformation units. In total this covers more than 6,000 users, 6 operational sites, and offices from Santiago to Copiapó as well as in Hong Kong.• Defined the TD strategy for CAP Minería and defined a roadmap focused on increasing EBITDA. The estimated benefit is US$41 - US$54MM per year in regime.• Redesigned the IT structure in order to establish a standardized and transversal service area for the entire company. Achieved a substantial improvement in internal customer relations management thanks to implementing a 24x7 Help Desk using Zendesk, defining KPIs and a service catalog with its respective SLAs, among other initiatives.• Created the technology infrastructure and operational continuity unit, established a NOC, implemented monitoring (PRTG, Cisco Collector) and operational work automation (System Center Configuration Manager) systems, and started the server virtualization process and the migration to the Azure cloud.• Led the Innovation pipeline, which currently comprises 14 projects, totaling an estimated EBITDA contribution for 2019 of US$2.7MM. Created the open innovation challenge “The Mining Evolution ™” with FCH. Promoted the relationship with the ecosystem.• Implemented PI System, in order to obtain direct information from the machines (Internet of Things - IoT). Motivated the installation of a dispatch system and promoted the execution of a benchmark and standardization of KPIs for the Operation and the use of OEE.• Created the Advanced Analytics unit, where a data lake was implemented in Google in order to create predictive maintenance models. Massified the utilization of Power BI and managed the creation of a system that consolidates CEO KPIs.

Responsible for assessing, planning and managing IT projects. This included also the coordination of external suppliers, internal teams, quality assurance, budget control and monitoring and controlling of projects planning. Responsible also for the cooperation between the U.S., Mexico, Brazil and Chile, achieving recognition nationally - and internationally for the projects in charge.Some examples of implemented projects:•	Reduction of telecommunications expenditures by almost 20% of the annual budget (by renegotiating contracts with Movistar, Entel, Claro, Telmex, Telefónica, GTD, and optimization of the service portfolio)•	Renewing the entire telecommunication infrastructure and networks using the same annual budget (by negotiating with Avaya, Nortel, Telmex, GTD, RedVoiss, Telefonica, Cisco,) •	Increasing the uptime of the web platform, which included improving applications, implementing new procedures, establishing metrics and standards development, among others, thus moving a 98.32 uptime average to a 99.97 (It is important to note that a financial services company that trades on the stock market, cannot hold a second without systems).  •	Implementation of server virtualization technology (VMware).
