Jim Pappas is a well-known writer, director, and producer who specializes in character-building plays, screenplays, books, and dramatized audios. He has a strong educational background in communication and Christian drama, having studied at Pacific Union College where he earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees. After graduation, he started teaching elementary school and then became a principal at a small church school.

Later on, Jim and his wife moved to California's Napa Valley where they started working with students from their alma mater to create Christian-oriented plays, mimes, and media presentations. One of his notable works in his career is the modernized audio dramatization of John Bunyan's famous work, "The Pilgrim's Progress," which he produced in 1988 using 77 actors.

Jim Pappas also wrote and produced two plays entitled "Mary's Song" and "For Such A Time," which are stories of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the Biblical Queen Esther, respectively. He has a wide range of interests, including youth work and experimental agriculture.

Currently, Jim is working on producing an epic audio dramatization based on the life of Joseph from the book of Genesis. He is also inviting individuals with an interesting voice to take part in the largest audio dramatization of the story ever produced.
