Oscar Buckle is an accomplished engineer and business professional in the energy industry. He attended the prestigious Carey Baptist Grammar School for his VCE, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Environments and a Master of Engineering in Civil Systems, both with First Class Honours, from the University of Melbourne. He continued his education at the Imperial College Business School, where he earned an MBA in Strategy with Distinction.

Throughout his career, Buckle has held a variety of roles in engineering, project management, and operations in the petroleum industry. His experience includes time serving as a Project Engineer, Continuous Improvement Lead, Integrity/Project Engineer, HSE Simplification Coordinator, Operations Engineer, and Civil/Structural Engineer at BHP, a global resources company. He has also worked as a Strategy and Transformation Analyst at Lightsource bp, a leading renewable energy company. He has a passion for positively impacting complex operations and working for companies that prioritize quality, delivery, and safety.
