Josie Raymond

Josie Raymond is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in education, journalism, and project management.

She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in the City of New York, and a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism.

Josie has a rich professional history, currently serving as the Kentucky State Representative for District 31 at Commonwealth of Kentucky. Her previous roles include being a Student Success Coordinator at the University of Louisville, a Project Manager at 55,000 Degrees, a Kiva Microlending Fellow at Access Ventures, an Academic Affairs Director at College Track, a Middle School Reading and Creative Writing Teacher at Indianapolis Public Schools, a Corps Member at Teach for America, and an Editor and Writer at Various Publications.
