Scott Binkley is a seasoned political strategist with extensive experience working with Republican state and local elected officials across the country. He currently serves as the VP Government Relations for National Multistate Strategies & Federal Affairs at McGuireWoods Consulting, where he focuses on designing and implementing multistate and federal public affairs strategies.

Scott's experience spans across managing statewide campaigns for governor and fulfilling various roles on campaigns for U.S. Senate and Congress. He is skilled in navigating national media, advising candidates on strategy and message, building successful coalitions and grassroots networks, fundraising, and organizing statewide media programs.

During the 2016 cycle, Scott served as the Executive Director of the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association (RLGA) and vastly grew the organization in size and impact. While under his leadership, the RLGA achieved record numbers in fundraising and political spending. Scott has maintained relationships with the many Republican governors who are former lieutenant governors as well as current lieutenant governors across the country.

In addition to campaign politics, Scott has worked in various capacities in the Capitol Hill office of then-House Policy Chairman, Tom Price. He is also an alumni of the Republican Governors Association's historic 2014 election cycle, where he was the Director of Corporate Memberships.

Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Public Speaking from Georgia College and State University, and he is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.
