Heather Palmer is an experienced environmental and ESG partner at Sidley Austin LLP. With expertise in environmental compliance, regulatory requirements, and the allocation of environmental liabilities in mergers and acquisitions, she is well versed in the oil and gas, refining, manufacturing, power and renewable sectors. She also plays a key role in advising clients on a broad range of ESG issues, including disclosure of climate change risks in SEC filings, corporate ESG programs and goals, and sustainability reports. Heather received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and her B.A. in History and International Studies from Rhodes College. Before joining Sidley Austin, she worked as a partner at Bracewell LLP and Norton Rose Fulbright in the United States.
