The Media Team Leader will be leading and coordinating the Media Volunteers at the area of their responsibility.

The Media Team Leaders will be ensuring allocation of duties for the volunteers assigned to their specific area, that there are enough volunteers per position, in order to keep the provided level of service high, that the competencies of the volunteers match the requirements of the specific position, that volunteers take sufficient breaks and are rotating as needed.

At the same time, they will be the main liaison between the Media Volunteers and the Venue Media Managers/Coordinators and/or FIFA Media Officers for any queries, clarifications or reporting for the specific area of their responsibility.

- Help drive social media activities in support of Varsity Blues communication goals.
-  Engage and grow audiences and amplify PR efforts in the fast-moving social media landscape.

This position supports the In-Game Broadcaster in putting on an exciting show for the fans. As an Assistant to the Broadcast Team, I work court side with the Broadcast Team to assist them in fetching players during and after the game for interviews and assist broadcast team to ensure all editorial requests are met.

23k @itsemraine - TikTok (formerly known as musical.ly) is a social media platform for creating, sharing and discovering short music videos, think Karaoke for the digital age. The app musical.ly was used by young people as an outlet to express themselves through singing, dancing, comedy, and lip-syncing. As a TikTok Content Creator, I currently have over 21K followers. On my platform I share my interests, lifestyle, university and sports.

During the lead up to TSIC (Toronto Sports Industry Conference) I took the role of Journalist Lead. I was manager of the monthly publication of newsletters, Media Team Intern, and met all editorial and media requirements for TSIC 2022.

The Abbotsford Pilots are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Harold Brittain Conference of the Pacific Junior Hockey League. The Pilots play their home games at MSA Arena. I had the opportunity to interview players and get a better understanding of the Sports Media field.

Duties as part of the Pilots Broadcast Team:
-  Interview Players/Coaches at every intermission.
-  Double as Cameraman during gameplay.
-  Have an understanding of Hockey and the PJHL.
-  Assist the Broadcast Team in their work.

- ExchangeAlumni. The Youth Ambassadors Program with Canada is a 3 week exchange to the US. 1 person from each province in Canada is selected. If you get selected to be 1 of 13 Canadian Youth Ambassadors you will embark on a 3 week exchange where you will learn Leadership,  Public Speaking, Community Service and much more. This program is fully funded by the U.S. Government. When the exchange is over our Youth Ambassadors head back to their home provinces to implement their learnings back into their communities with monthly check ins from our officials.

Duties as a Guest Services Host:
-  Set up and support of events and programming.
-  Supporting the Administration Team.
-  Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.

-  Being a source of information to guests on various matters about the Shopping Centre.

The goal of BC Bounce is to broaden both our recreational league and club team programs, by empowering qualified coaches to inspire kids and create a positive culture around basketball in Abbotsford and surrounding areas. Our job as coaches is to transcend basketball lessons into life lessons. As coaches, we want players to become great team leaders in a successful program which functions as a family and, in doing so, helps them become better people.

My duties as a Basketball Coach included:
