He is a skilled leader with excellent interpersonal, negotiating, and presentation abilities. Roberts' experience focuses on both publicly traded and private equity-backed companies, particularly in the technology sector, with an emphasis on capital markets, mergers, acquisitions, operations, and corporate development transactions. He studied for his MBA in Finance at the University of Maine, which boosted his understanding of finance and enabled him to be a successful business leader.

Roberts' professional career started with his presidency and CEO roles in Vyant Bio, a company focused on cancer sample testing. Before that, he served as a former Executive Board Member at Fight Cancer Global, former Chairman-Fellow Committee, and Member, Board of Directors at DIA. He also served as Interim CEO & COO, as well as Chief Operating Officer & EVP Finance, of Cancer Genetics, Inc, CFO of VirMedica, AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions, InfoLogix, Inc., Clarient, Daou Systems, Inc., and HealthOnline, among others. He was also VP Corporate Development at MEDecision and CFO at Center for Health Information, Inc. Additionally, he was the President of Roberts Hackett & Co. before joining Vyant Bio.
