Paul Freet is an accomplished entrepreneur, COO, and technology expert with more than three decades of experience under his belt. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which he leveraged to create high-tech startups grounded in innovative research. He was a Principal at VentureLab, where he helped create technology startup companies based on research at Georgia Tech. He is also a former Instructor at the National Science Foundation I-Corps program. In November 2007, he was inducted into the Georgia Tech College of Engineering's Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni. Before joining Freedom Equity Group as COO, Paul founded and managed several technology startups including Salestrakr and Racemi, two companies focused on web-based CRM tool and server blade solutions, respectively. He's an expert in web services development and has deep expertise in the Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP open source stack. Furthermore, he is adept in building large scale NoSQL map/reduce systems using CouchDB, JavaScript, and Ajax, and is highly skilled in user interface design.
