Sy Sohmer

Sy Sohmer is an accomplished botanist and biologist with a wealth of experience in research, education, conservation, and management of botanical gardens and natural resources. Sohmer holds a Ph.D. in Biology, Philosophy, and Botany from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, as well as a Master's degree in Botany from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
