Clare Yap, an experienced teacher with 4 years of experience in both local and international elementary schools, is passionate about creating an inclusive classroom environment where every learner is valued. Clare has a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from The University of Western Australia. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Primary Education from Nanyang Technological University. Clare is committed to designing inquiry-based learning experiences where learners can discuss and collaborate as part of the learning process. She has a high expectation for the learners she teaches but always put appropriate scaffolding in lessons to make their goals attainable and to develop a growth mindset.

Clare has worked in different organizations such as the Australian International School in Singapore, Tanjong Katong Primary School, Ecole Internationale Robert Schuman, and CHIJ (Katong) Convent Primary as a primary school teacher. She also has an experience as an Assistant Clinic Manager at Nam Fung Dental Surgery.
