He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Bruce has held several positions in his career, including Global Life Sciences Industry Technical Consultant and Global Process Technical Consultant at Rockwell Automation, Control Engineering Fellow at Flamingo Automation LLC, Lead Engineer at Emerson Process Management, Senior Consulting Engineer at Tampa Electric, Principal Solution Consultant/Engineering Consultant at Honeywell Process Solutions, and Automation Engineer at Procter and Gamble. Additionally, he has worked as an IT Manager and Energy Auditor at Bosek, Gibson, and Associates, and he has interned at TECO Energy and Georgia Power Company.
