She received an education in Computer Systems at Curtin University of Technology, where she developed expertise in advanced HTML, web design, branding and identity, and usability, and knowledge of browsers and related design and coding constraints, CSS, XML, UML, and WYSIWYG layout tools.

She has held various positions in different organizations such as User Experience Engineer at Anglo American, User Experience Engineer at BHP, UX Specialist at BHP, Senior UX Designer/Developer at MarketVision Consulting Group, User Experience Designer at Power Ledger, and Head of Product Experience at Mili Wijeratne.
