Michelle Goldberg is an American journalist and author, currently working as a columnist for The New York Times. Born in 1975 in Buffalo, New York, Goldberg studied religion and philosophy at the University of Buffalo. She began her journalism career at the age of 21 as a reporter for the alternative weekly newspaper, The Forward. Since then, she has contributed to numerous publications, including The Nation, The Guardian, and Slate. Goldberg has written several books, including Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism, which explores the intersection of religion and politics in America. She has also won a Pulitzer Prize for her work as part of a team covering the #MeToo movement. On a personal level, Goldberg is known for her progressive political views and advocacy for women's rights.
