When I was hired to lead Training at Neo@Ogilvy, there hadn't been someone in the training position for over a year. Within 30 days, I had an interactive New Hire Orientation up and running live in NYC and via webcast for all Neo North America offices. I worked with leadership and department heads to identify critical needs to support our 800+ North America staff including:

-  Led content refresh of traditional & digital media planning curriculum covering print, TV, radio, out-of-home, social, display & programmatic advertising to provide an overview to new hires about how Neo plans Media across all disciplines
-  Partnered with leadership, HR and marketing to craft internal communications and employee engagement activities
-  Trained 100+ employees on management skills, conflict resolution and public speaking across Neo North America
-  Built and maintained knowledge base housing best practices across all media planning specialities

Learning & Development Manager

I was the first internal Training Specialist hired at MediaMath and Adroit Digital to support 750+ staff globally. My first project was to become a certified consultative SPIN Selling trainer and train all Adroit Digital salespeople across North America. Though new to digital advertising and consultative selling, I hit the ground running and applied my facilitation and coordination skills to this new challenge. I was promoted to Global Learning & Development Manager within a year and tackled the following projects while in both roles:

-  Hired, trained and managed 6 training specialists and coordinators
-  Oversaw new hire and ongoing training across all disciplines from tech to sales including the creation of 100 day plans and accompanying resources for all new hires
-  Led global HR training rollouts including communication, coordination, train-the-trainer and facilitation covering topics such as mergers & acquisitions, reorganizations, changes in company positioning & marketing and the rollout of a new data-driven performance evaluation system
-  Spearheaded training roadshows to MediaMath’s North America offices

Training Specialist

In this role I co-managed a team implementing a federal grant to provide comprehensive health education in New York City after-school programs. Before joining the team, the program had never met its targets. I was tenacious about contacting every school and community program within our approved service area to market our services and build relationships. I increased the key metric of workshop series by 200% and helped lead an effort for us to expand and adapt our program to fit into in-school time. We exceeded our target every year since and were awarded a supplementary grant to expand into Queens county. Key highlights include:

-  Built and maintained partnerships with 35+ NYC schools and organizations across Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens
-  Hired and managed team of 8 health educators
-  Trained health educators to consistently represent Planned Parenthood’s values and messaging
-  Researched and co-authored grant reports and requests for additional funding
-  Facilitated professional development trainings for PPNYC staff and community partners, such as social workers, teachers and healthcare providers
