Matt Russell is a co-founder and managing director of Uppbeat, a music licensing platform. He has an impressive background that allows him to merge his two passions - music and technology. After completing his A-Levels, he studied for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography and Digital Imaging, which he completed with a 2:1 grade. Matt has an excellent reputation in the video production industry for finding and licensing beautifully-produced music through his previous co-founded company, Music Vine. He and his business partner built an online community of talented composers and producers who showcased outstanding work. Before starting Music Vine, Matt worked as production and technical coordinator at Revolution Viewing, where he honed his multimedia skills. He has a degree in Photography, and he spent nine months exploring various cultures around the world after graduation. In his free time, Matt loves staying active and social by running, playing squash, and participating in football.
