Andrew Perez is a Toronto-based public affairs professional, freelance columnist, and political activist. He serves as the Media Relations Manager at the Toronto Region Board of Trade and has over a decade of experience advising senior leaders in communication strategies for their dealings with governments and the media. Andrew is a graduate of Carleton University's School of Journalism and the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. He has a diverse skill set and has worked in a variety of public and private sector environments, advising elected officials and candidates at the provincial and federal levels. Andrew has published work in notable publications such as the Globe and Mail, National Post, and Ottawa Citizen. In addition to work, Andrew volunteers his time on the Board of Directors of the Pride and Remembrance Association and enjoys exploring Toronto's diverse neighborhoods.
