Michael Wick is an experienced library professional with a passion for literature, peace, and conflict studies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Peace & Conflict Studies from Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, as well as a Master of Library Science degree from Simmons University. With over a decade in the field, Michael has worked as a Library Director and Assistant Director at the Burlington Public Library, a Senior Reference Librarian at the Peabody Institute Library, and a Reference Librarian at the Wellesley Free Library. He has also worked as a Library Assistant at Simmons School of Management and a Student Assistant at Simmons College. Before entering the library field, Michael worked as a Manager in the Accounting Department at Hilton Worldwide.
As a library professional, Michael’s expertise lies in library management, reference services, and research. He is a skilled communicator with a passion for literature, and has a strong background in peace and conflict studies. Michael’s experience in both public and academic library settings has given him a broad range of skills and knowledge, making him a versatile and valuable asset in any library setting.
