The Hendersonville High School alumnus completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Cowart is a respected speaker, published author with four books under his belt, and the recipient of flattering titles such as the “Most Influential Photographer on the Internet.” He has spoken at TEDx, the United Nations, and other creative conferences in the U.S. and worldwide.
Cowart comes across as an individual with a passion for giving back to society, reflecting in his various philanthropic projects that empower communities worldwide. He is the founder of the global photography initiative, Help-Portrait, and mobile social networking app, OKDOTHIS. Additionally, he is the founder and CEO at The Purpose Hotel, a planned global for-profit hotel chain designed to contribute to the work of non-profit organizations.
