Lawrence Spracklen is a highly experienced and accomplished technology leader with expertise in machine learning, big data, software development, security, and cryptography. He has led engineering and data science teams from pre-seed to acquisition and has served on multiple startup advisory boards as well as a board member. He is a frequent CISO with extensive SOC2 and HIPAA experience.

Spracklen has a Ph.D. in electronic engineering from the University of Aberdeen and a B.Sc. in computational physics from the University of York. He has more than 65 US patents granted and has published over 30 academic and industry publications in conferences and journals.

Spracklen is currently the Chief Technology Officer at R-Squared AI and has previously worked as a Vice President of Engineering and Data Science at SupportLogic, Inc., Vice President of Engineering at Ayasdi, Chief Architect at Ayasdi, and Senior Director of Engineering at TIBCO Software Inc. He has also worked at NVIDIA, Sun Microsystems, and the United Nations.
