Emily Butler is an accomplished strategic marketing and brand leader with over 18 years of global experience in digital, entertainment, e-commerce, and startups. She is a Southern Cross University graduate, having earned a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing. She has also studied advertising at Macleay College and the Higher School Certificate at North Sydney Girls High School.
Emily has held several leadership positions over the years, including Head of Consumer Marketing at Flare, Head of Marketing at Slate, and VP of Marketing & Merchandising at Food52. Additionally, she has worked as a marketing consultant and startup advisor at Freelance, held an adjunct instructor position in social media marketing at the University of California, Los Angeles, and worked as a Marketing Advisor at Awesome Co.
She has also developed her marketing expertise at top media companies such as Condé Nast, HarperCollins Publishers, and Sony Music Entertainment. Furthermore, Emily held marketing manager roles at Pacific Magazines and Warner Music Group, where she coordinated multiple marketing initiatives for major brands, including InStyle Australia and Marie Claire.
