Elizabeth Piñon is a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience in e-commerce, subscription services, operations, and strategy. After spending ten years at BFA Industries' IPSY, the world's largest beauty subscription, she joined TheVentureCity as a VP of Product and an Operating Partner. Her focus has been on identifying and investing in pre-seed startups that have potential for hypergrowth. Elizabeth brings her expertise in cross-functional initiatives, retention, and member journey mapping to ensure that the companies TheVentureCity partners with will have a product-led growth methodology to support their success. Elizabeth graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master's degree in Bilingual Education from Loyola Marymount University, where she also studied Modern Languages and Literature, Communication Studies, and Latin American Studies. She earned a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online. Elizabeth is a results-driven leader, passionate about developing and uplifting teammates, and she has held various positions during her career, including Director of Strategy and Operations, Project Manager, Vendor Manager, Operations Coordinator, and Quality Assurance Lead. She has also contributed to education as a Spanish Teacher and Teacher's Assistant.
