Gary Kappel is an accomplished product design and development expert with over 20 years of experience in engineering, design, manufacturing, and production engineering. He has a proven track record in developing innovative and high-quality products that are both rapid and low cost. With extensive experience in the medical products, surgical devices, consumer electronics, and electronics packaging fields, Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his work. During his career, he has been responsible for leading projects from concept to production, with particular expertise in critical design and engineering issues, materials and manufacturing issues, DFMA, Material and Component Selections and Applications, and Intellectual Property Generation. Gary has studied at the University of Bridgeport and Charter Oak State College, where he completed a BS in Engineering and Management. He has worked for several leading companies in the healthcare and technology sectors, including Corindus Vascular Robotics, Boston Scientific, Abbott, and VST Technologies, among others.
