Yousra Fazili is an accomplished attorney and public policy advisor with an impressive 20 years of experience working in fast-paced organizations with complex systems and national security goals in the US & the Middle East. She is an expert in leading teams to deliver on aggressive goals through streamlined processes, training, and strategic solutions while improving efficiencies and fiscal outcomes. Fazili is also skilled in identifying global partnership opportunities and has a high energy is adept at forming public/private partnerships.
Fazili is a Harvard University graduate with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Political Science from Brown University. She has been awarded the Fulbright Fellow in Cairo, Egypt, and has held several significant roles within various organizations.
She has worked at the Pentagon US Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy as a Special Policy Advisor, U.S Small Business Administration as an Attorney Advisor for Office of Disaster Assistance, and at the Embassy of Qatar in Washington D.C as the Director of Strategic Partnerships. Fazili has also served as Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of Defense for Comptroller at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment, and Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for NBC at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment.
