Prachi Gupta is a seasoned technology executive, with over ten years of experience in consumer technology companies. She is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Discord, where she leads the strategy and execution of a highly scalable and distributed technology stack that powers millions of conversations. Prior to her current role, she worked at LinkedIn in various capacities, including Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager. Prachi's experience also includes working as a Software Engineer at Garmin International, Impetus, and Intellicus Technologies. Prachi is an entrepreneurial engineer at heart who enjoys conceptualizing, designing, and delivering impactful software, as well as prototyping ideas. She holds a Masters in computer science, and has significant experience in working with startups and exploring innovative solutions to real-world problems, from socially driven consumer websites to enterprise business intelligence and analytics software. Prachi is also an active supporter of diversity in STEM, having co-founded LinkedIn's Women in Technology initiative and been an alumnus board member of Women's Audio Mission.
