Bookrepublic is a leading Italian ebook store and aggregator for the top Italian indie publishers; we want to provide our community of readers with a warm, unique, engaging and entertaining experience about reading and books.
We are also a native digital publisher; 40K is our international imprint launched in 2010 focused on novelettes and short essays; EmmaBooks, is a fast growing imprint in the women's fiction and non-fiction area, in partnership with the Italian literary agency Grandi&Associati.
Thanks to our experience in creating contents for the digital environment, in the digital content delivery and in community management we started some years ago Bookrepublic - The Content Agency, providing brands with top quality content for their digital communication. 
Every year we organize IBT in Milan, one of the most rewarded event in Europe about digital transformation in publishing and communication. In 2016 we organized iCodex, a hackathon focused on how technology can improve a great number of cultural experiences, from reading a book to visiting a museum or watching an opera show.

Harlequin is the world leading publisher in romance, based in Toronto. I've been in charge of the Italian JV between the Canadian publisher and Mondadori as managing director for three years, joining the Board of Directors during the remaining period.

I've been working at Mondadori for 16 years, starting as assistant to the group CEO. After a couple of years I caught the opportunity of a line job as Harlequin-Mondadori managing director (the JV with the Canadian publisher) and three years after I became CEO of Mondadori Informatica, the unit focused on computer publishing (magazines, books, education and also retail) of Mondadori still reporting to the group CEO: in 7 years we reported 9x revenues growth and all the New Media and Internet operations were brought under my responsibility. In the last years, I was CEO of Sperling & Kupfer, one of the Mondadori book imprints organized as a separate company.
