As the former CEO of UNIS LUMIN, a prominent national Cisco/Microsoft integrator, John recognized the crucial link between technology deployment and user adoption in determining a client's success. This realization fueled his passion to create Fivel Systems Corporation, a company dedicated to enhancing how users learn and embrace new technologies, ultimately delivering transformative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
In addition to his role at Fivel, John's commitment to improving the efficiency of solution vendors led to the establishment of Promys, a sister company offering advanced business software designed specifically for IT, Audio Video, and Security Integrators, as well as field service contractors. Through Promys, John provides a comprehensive solution that streamlines workflows, offers KPI analytics, and ensures exceptional service delivery for customers, resulting in enhanced outcomes for stakeholders.
With a strong educational foundation from Centennial College, University of Toronto at Mississauga - Erindale College, and York University - Glendon College, John Breakey combines academic knowledge with hands-on entrepreneurial experience to drive impactful change in the technology sector.
Throughout his career, John has held key positions in various organizations, including Manager at Promys CRM, Help Desk, ITSM, and PSA software, Director at Fivel Systems Corporation, and Advisory Board Member at BrainFX. He has also served as Chairperson for renowned industry bodies such as Colleges Ontario Network for Industry Innovation, 1nService, Inc., Information Technology Association of Canada (Ontario), Oakville Economic Development Corp, and Oakville Chamber of Commerce, showcasing his commitment to driving innovation and excellence in both technology and business sectors.
