Dennis Yu is a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of California-Berkeley. He specializes in Formula SAE racing, having been a member of the Berkeley Formula Racing team for three years, where he helped design, build, and compete in an open-wheeled race car each year.

Yu's interests lie in the electrification of the automotive industry and how we can transition away from our dependence on fossil fuels across the world. He is particularly passionate about exploring California's coastal waters, where he spends his free time freediving.

After obtaining his Bachelor's degree, Yu has worked in various positions related to mechanical engineering, including Research Development Hardware Engineer at Feasible Inc., Mechanical Engineer at FreeWire Technologies, and Engine Hardware and Development Intern-Turbochargers at General Motors.

In addition to his professional experience, Yu has also been actively involved in various science and engineering clubs throughout his academic career, including Peralta Engineering, Medicine, and Science Club, Chabot Science and Engineering Club, and Bridges to Baccalaureate Tutor at National Institutes of Health.
