Ali Jiwani is a social entrepreneur, strategic thinker, and developmental activist with a passion for innovation, technology, and social development. Born and raised in South Asia and Africa, he witnessed firsthand the struggles of poverty and saw constant innovation in places of real necessity. After completing his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Richard Ivey School of Business, Ali studied design thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute and taught himself basic programming.
Over the years, Ali has worked for several organizations, including Rallydotvideo, Oraan, Rose Rocket, Antler, Babylon Health, Entrepreneur First, and Zalando SE. He has also founded multiple startups, including MealSurfers and Foqus Innovative Solutions. His expertise lies in product management, corporate strategy, business development, payments innovation, and marketing. Ali's ultimate goal is to be a leader in improving the lives of the children in the third world, but first, he wants to learn more about businesses, innovation, and people.
