Gary Veerman is a highly accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the investment management industry. He holds an M.S. (Honors) degree in Global Financial Analysis from Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business and a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Finance from West Virginia University. Veerman has held several leadership positions during his professional career. He is currently the Head of LDI Solutions at Capital Group's American Funds, where he is responsible for managing the Liability-Driven Investment team, including product development, strategy, market insight, and client relations. Prior to his role at Capital Group, Veerman held the position of Managing Director, Blackrock Solutions at BlackRock, where he was responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the design, analytics, and implementation of investment solutions for pension plans and insurance companies. Veerman's expertise in liability-driven investing was further sharpened in his previous role as Head of LDI Strategy at Legal & General Investment Management America. Prior to that, he served as Director of Asset Allocation Research at Rocaton Investment Advisor and as an Investment Analyst at Rocaton Investment Advisors.
