Matt Foley, a Boston University BSBA graduate, is an expert in consumer insights and market research. He specializes in delivering consumer insights quickly and cost-effectively to marketers. Foley runs two businesses, QualNow and FocusGroupIt, which help companies of all sizes capture qualitative feedback online. He also serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at High Tech Rochester, where he advises and invests in startups in the Rochester, NY area. Additionally, Foley is a former Senior Vice President at Edelman Berland and the Co-Founder of PluggedIN, acquired in 2011 by Edelman. Prior to these roles, he served as the Qualitative Research Consultant at Auragen Communications, Senior Qualitative Analyst/Moderator at Harris Interactive, Research Assistant at The Leadership Institute at Boston University, and Cutover Coordinator at Choice One Communications. Foley has also taught in the NEXUS Clean Energy Startup Accelerator at NEXUS-NY and the Lean LaunchPad Startup Accelerator at High Tech Rochester.
