Ian Nesbitt is the Chief Scientist and Technical Support Specialist at Raspberry Shake S.A. As a geoscientist, he has worked for various organizations, including e4sciences, LLC, where he was a Geophysicist and Field Operations Manager. Ian graduated with Honors from Williams College and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Earth and Climate Sciences at the University of Maine while working at Raspberry Shake. Ian is passionate about geomorphology, geophysics, sedimentology, and monitoring and analyzing real-time environmental conditions. He aims to revolutionize the world of data acquisition field surveying and research by integrating IOT and static systems. With his expertise in UNIX, Python, Matlab, COMSOL, QGIS, ArcGIS, and data acquisition protocol, Ian has contributed significantly to the development of Raspberry Shake's low-cost seismographs.
