Quanisha Green, MSS (MSW) is the Founder & Executive Coach of Mitea LLC, a global business and leadership development company dedicated to serving the unique needs of Black women.In 2015, Quanisha decided to leave the nonprofit social justice field and honor her calling through full-time entrepreneurship. She launched the Black Women Rise Movement with a mission to leverage digital technology as a means to close the leadership gap impacting Black women.Through her organizational work, Quanisha discovered a segment of professional Black women desiring tailored and culturally-relevant business coaching. Co-Executive Director●	Promoted to Co-Executive Director of ACTION United, an organization focused on improving the lives of people living in marginalized communities through community organizing and social justice advocacy; ●	Worked in partnership to manage the implementation and oversight of the largest statewide community organization of low to moderate income people (budget: $400,000)●	Directed the organizations fundraising and development efforts, range of $5,000-$20,000.●	Co-supervised full-time staff, volunteer coordinators and graduate interns.●	Managed & Co-Chaired the implementation of the Philadelphia Community Schools Initiative by working closely with Philadelphia City Council members, School District of Philadelphia personnel, Principals and parents, prominent nonprofits, labor and community organizations for the purposes of increasing awareness about this proven model for public school reform and advising on implementation.●	Presented and led worships at various national and regional conferences on Community Organizing, Public Education Reform, and the Community Schools Model.●	Organizational Development Intern (Sept 2013-May 2014):  Social Work worksite field placement that involved conducting organizational assessments with staff and member leadership. Utilized information from assessments to create and lead regional training workshops on political education, community organizing and advocacy skills.

Co-Executive Director

- Spokesperson for the organization’s social, economic, and educational justice campaigns.● Planned and co-facilitated the organization’s strategic planning and goal-setting process with the State Board, staff, and member leaders. ● Responsible for creating and directing membership and staff development training programs.● Represented the Philadelphia Coalition Advocating for Public Schools (PCAPS) during various press conferences, public events and city council hearings. Co-Chair of the Community Schools Taskforce.● Developed relationships with elected officials, nonprofit, and faith leaders to forge partnerships and increase public awareness of the organization. ● Co-managed the organization’s social media presence.

Director, Leadership and Community Development

- Managed the administrative, training and support needs of approximately 20 law school students who volunteered each semester with DVAP.● Performed direct service to petitioners filing for Protection of Abuse orders at the Philadelphia Family Court.● Provided callers with legal information, referrals, and resources for issues such as domestic violence, divorce, and family law.● Trained new telephone counselors on protocol and caller assessments.● Counseled over 500 callers and provided direct service to approximately 200 domestic violence petitioners. ● Helen O’Bannon Fellow (2011): Organized reproductive health-care grassroots campaign for Southeastern Pennsylvania as part of a coalition of Pennsylvanian pro-choice organizations. Planned strategic communications and outreach in the forms of email communications, web pages, campaign messaging, and direct outreach to reach key nonprofit, advocacy, health care and student organizations for participation.
