Sopong Kim

Sopong Kim is an accomplished risk manager with extensive experience in the commodities trading industry. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Kim has served in various leadership roles throughout her career, including her current position as Chief Risk Manager at Hartree Capital Management. Prior to this, she was the Global Head of Market Risk at Hartree Partners and a Vice President at RBS Sempra Commodities. Kim has also worked in forecasting and supply acquisition analysis at MXenergy and Strategic Energy, respectively, as well as in gas supply engineering at UGI Utilities, Inc. With her multi-faceted expertise and experience, Kim is a valued asset to any organization she contributes to.
