Having spent several years as a senior sales professional for both telecommunications and BPO companies I developed a good understanding of the business drivers for my mostly public-sector clients.

In discussions with several Chief Executives of local authorities, it became clear that while financial savings and commodity outsourcing (even "strategic partnerships") are important to them - they are not the issues that keep them awake at night.

Adult medical and social care is an area that is perplexing both central and local government and the NHS. Seeing an opportunity I have helped establish Nobilis Care Limited to address a growing market for quality rather than commodity care. We are focussing on the increasing proportion of elderly, disabled and those with learning difficulties who will not quality for sufficient state support, and will therefore either top-up, or be required to completely fund their own care.
