Eitan Livne is an experienced intelligence expert and instructor with a background spanning more than 20 years of experience. He has worked in both the public and private sectors in various countries, making him a true leader in his field. His particular expertise lies in social media investigations, where he has a proven track record of success. Alongside this, Livne has worked with tech companies, governments, security firms, lawyers and the media, giving him a unique skill set that goes beyond just intelligence work.

Livne studied Ancient Middle Eastern Studies and Semitic Linguistics at Tel Aviv University before moving onto Leiden University for a Masters in Linguistics. This was followed by intensive Arabic dialectology seminar training at Princeton University, and a second Masters in Arabic Language and Literature at The Hebrew University. Livne is fluent in several colloquial Arabic dialects as well as Hebrew and English, making him an excellent linguist.

Livne has worked in a varied range of roles throughout his career, including as a Project Manager and Middle East and Extremism Expert at Dataminr Inc., as a Field Open Source Officer for the US Government, and as a Political Advisor for the British Embassy in Tel Aviv. He has also worked as a Counterproliferation Program Director at TIP and as Senior Analyst and Director of Political Analysis at Terrogence.

Currently, Livne is the founder and Chief Analyst at El Consulting, which focuses on providing intelligence and investigation work for clients. He was also the former founder and Chief Arabic Linguist at Detect Dialect and previously worked as a Middle East Affairs Correspondent and Commentator at a leading Israeli daily.
