Canva, a leading design tool platform, has appointed Yoheswaran Gnanavel as the Head of Growth Partnerships for India. With a focus on exponential growth, Yogi is responsible for setting up Canva's Campus Ambassador Program, organizing engaging events, and forming institutional partnerships with colleges, schools, coworking spaces, incubators, and accelerators.

Prior to joining Canva, Yogi founded Startup Surge, an organization that helps startups refine their ventures and organize events to support them. Notable events include the Mega Internship Fair in Bangalore, which attracted over 1300 students, 83 startups, and offered 490+ internship openings. Another event, NthPreneur, aimed to unlock layers of entrepreneurship by providing insights into setting up successful ventures. Yogi also organized Design-A-Thon, a hackathon for the design community.

Yogi's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Amrita University. He completed his secondary education at National Public School and Kendriya Vidyalaya.

His professional journey includes roles such as Senior Manager of Growth at Woovly, Ambassador for Asia at 100 Open Startups - India, COO at World Startup Foundation, and Board Observer at Design Syndrome. He has also been a Fellow at the Startup Leadership Program and a Yatri at Jagriti Sewa Sansthan. Yogi has contributed his expertise and skills in marketing, partnerships, strategic alliances, execution strategies, and counseling during his tenure at various organizations.
