Holly Hippensteel is a highly accomplished educator with an extensive background in higher education administration. She received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Kent State University and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In addition, she studied Sociology and College Teaching at La Roche College and Kent State University, respectively.

Over the years, Holly has held numerous positions at various institutions, with her most recent role being Associate Vice President for Community Standards and Diversity Initiatives at Carnegie Mellon University. Previously, she served as Interim Director of Title IX Initiatives and Title IX Coordinator at the same institution, where she oversaw a comprehensive program of Title IX initiatives, including policies, procedures, education, and prevention.

Before joining Carnegie Mellon University, Holly was also an Instructor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Director of Student Life, Associate Director, Coordinator of Special Projects, Coordinator of Student Life, and Area Coordinator at Carnegie Mellon University. She also served as Director of Campus Life at Chatham University and Graduate Residence Director at Seton Hill University.

Throughout her career, Holly has demonstrated exceptional expertise in various areas, including higher education administration, student affairs, community standards, diversity initiatives, Title IX initiatives, sociology, and college teaching. She is a highly sought-after speaker in these areas and has presented at several national and regional conferences.
