Kim Buschert

Kim Buschert is a Business and Management Librarian with a solid background in the higher education sector. Her expertise lies in market research, project coordination, library instruction, and research.

Kim completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature at the University of Victoria. She further pursued her education by obtaining a Master of Library & Information Studies (MLIS) from The University of British Columbia (UBC).

Throughout her career, Kim has held various roles at The University of British Columbia, including Faculty of Management Librarian, Liaison and Outreach Librarian, Strategic Projects Librarian at Okanagan Library, Reference & Instruction Librarian at David Lam Management Research Library, Faculty Course Associate, Student Librarian, Co-op Student Librarian, and Graduate Academic Assistant.

In addition to her academic positions, Kim has also worked at Interior Health Authority in roles such as Project Coordinator for Addiction Knowledge Exchange, Executive Assistant to CFO, Coordinator for Residential Services, Coordinator for Community Integrated Health Services, and Administrative Assistant for Community Care.

Her diverse professional background extends to roles outside of the education and health sectors, including Sales & Marketing Assistant at Blue Mountain Vineyard & Cellars, Office Manager at Harvey McKinnon Associates, Managing Editor at Adbusters Media Foundation, and ESL Instructor at Geng Hsin Language Centre.
