Katharine Hansen is a seasoned educator and instructional designer with expertise in organizational communication, career management, and applied storytelling. She holds a PhD from Union Institute & University, and has completed Micromasters programs at edX and University of Maryland University College. Katharine is also a published author with nine books on job/search, career, and student-success topics, and has written over 100 articles on these subjects.

Katharine's passion for teaching and lifelong learning is evident in the way she builds, guides, and nurtures virtual communities of learners. She has taught business/managerial/organizational communication, principles of management, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior and leadership, research and communication, business writing, and career development, among other subjects. Katharine is particularly interested in exploring innovative techniques that utilize technology and computer-mediated communication to engage students in learning.

As an Independent Adjunct Instructor, Katharine offers her expertise in applied storytelling, writing/editing, and teaching management/Organizational Behavior/communications at the college level. She has also held various positions in academic institutions, including lecturer at Stetson University, Online Faculty Member at Allied American University, and Subject Matter Expert for Doctoral Dissertation Committees at Northcentral University.
