Sean O'Donoghue

Sean O'Donoghue is a highly experienced industry leader with 30 years of experience in developing and executing market-leading technology and digital strategies in a variety of domains. He has worked with established companies like DreamWorks Animation SKG, Madison Square Garden, Macerich, Oracle, and KPMG, and now serves as COO/CTO at TheGuarantors. Sean’s expertise lies in helping companies optimize their existing business models and identify new technology-based solutions. He has domain expertise in insurance, technology, real estate, media, and entertainment, and has delivered enterprise and B2B solutions, platform technology, as well as direct-to-consumer products.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University College Cork and is a CISA certificate holder from ISACA. He has also studied FCA at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. In the past, Sean has served New York CTO Club as a member and as a mentor at FinTech Innovation Lab. He has worked as the CTO of Trov Inc. and as the COO/CTO of The Madison Square Garden Company. He has also worked as the CIO/Head of Information Technology at DreamWorks Animation and VP of Technology at Macerich Corporation. Sean has also worked as the Managing Principal at Oracle Corportation and VP of Professional Services at Erisco - Managed Healthcare Insurance Solutions. Previously he was working as the Strategy and Management Consultant - Insurance Solutions at ITIM Associates and as the CFO/Chief Financial Officer at Hansa Insurance/Reinsurance. He has also worked as a Senior Audit Manager - (Re)Insurance Market at KPMG Peat Marwick.
