Katrina Bayog is an accomplished development and media professional with a remarkable track record in the civic and social organization industry. She is an expert in project management, fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement. Bayog has studied at prestigious institutions all over the world, including the University of the Philippines, the University for Peace, and KU Leuven, where she finished her degree in cultural anthropology and development studies cum laude.
Bayog has worked with several organizations over the years, bringing her expertise and skills to various roles. She was at one point the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Kumu, a consultant for UNESCO, and program director at Kaya Collaborative, among others. She is also a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, an ambassador for Girl Rising, and a former youth trainee and youth consultant at UNESCO.
A dynamic professional with a vibrant personality, Bayog is passionate about social entrepreneurship and economic development. She was part of the YSEALI Academic Fellowship on Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at the University of Connecticut. She also used to be a designer at Al Jazeera Media Innovation Hackathon and an assistant community manager at Uncollege Network.
