Sarah Simmer is the COO of Bumble, a female-first social networking app, founded by Whitney Wolfe Herd, that focuses on promoting equality in relationships and bringing kindness and respect back into introductions. Sarah's expertise includes core strategy, international growth, and business operations. She heads the investment strategy for the Bumble Fund, an early-stage investment vehicle focused on the next generation of women-led businesses. In her prior work experience, Sarah invested, consulted, and operated mission-driven brands in support of visionary founders meeting real market needs. She possesses a Bachelor's degree in Music and Economics, and a Master's degree in Public Policy. Sarah has spoken on various topics ranging from venture investing to women's rights to ethical business and scaling rapid growth businesses at events like Dreamforce, SXSW, Techcrunch Disrupt, the Global Partnership for Education, and UN special sessions. Her out of work time is spent raising two young daughters.
