Nhan Tran is a highly trained mathematician who specializes in numerical analysis and computational mathematics. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Kansas State University, where he researched fast algorithms for solving wave scattering and integral equations. Tran's diverse background includes working as a consultant for Nortel Networks & TMA Solutions, serving as a Department of Mathematics faculty member at his alma mater, and currently holding the position of Head of Natural Language Analytics at QOMPLX. At QOMPLX, he is focused on researching information extraction, natural language processing, machine learning, data analytics, and knowledge base construction to support the creation of core components and services for Q:OS.
