Gene Thomas is a multi-talented individual with a wealth of experience in the entertainment and media industry. He holds an MFA in Television and Film from Temple University, where he was a Temple University Fellow. Additionally, he earned a BA in English Literature with honors from LaSalle University. Thomas is an accomplished independent producer and director with expertise in directing and producing marketing communication, documentary, and dramatic productions. He is also an experienced interviewer, writer, and published poet. Additionally, he has experience as a media and presentation coach, working with CEO-level clients.

Thomas is a graduate of the Meisner Technique Studio, where he obtained professional actor training under Jim Jarrett. He is also a working actor and dramatic director for both the screen and stage. Thomas has experience working as a faculty member of the American Conservatory Theatre and the Academy of Art University, where he taught Acting For The Camera at the senior and masters degree levels. He has also taught graduate-level instructor in presentation and communication at USF BPS.

Thomas's impressive resume includes working as the Director of Communications for the School of Management at the University of San Francisco. In this role, he was responsible for all media production, including video and photography, as well as all written materials. He was also the Managing Editor of the School Website, Writer, Editor, Publisher of four regular eNewsletters in editions for faculty/staff, alumni and friends, and current and prospective students.

Thomas is an expert in producing video portraits of elders for private clients, museums, and historical societies. His skills extend to video and still photography cameraman, making him a versatile and valued member of any project team.
