Bob Hendrikx is a renowned inventor, architect, and biodesigner who aims to create a symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature. His vision is to develop a world where everything works and thrives together. Bob has contributed significantly to the sustainable living sphere with his innovative ideas and designs. He has developed a living coffin that turns humans into compost, grown the world's first living home at Dutch Design Week, and bought a rundown home in Detroit and turned it into a sustainable housing prototype.

Bob's educational background includes completing his MSc. in Architecture and Material Lab at TU Delft, studying Exchange Student at The College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University, and pursuing a BSc. in Architecture and the Built Environment at Technische Universiteit Delft. He has also extensively studied Material Experience Lab at Industrial Design Engineering, TU Delft.

Bob has been recognized for his contributions to sustainable living and has been chosen as Vice Media's Human of the Year 2020. He has been featured in popular media outlets such as TEDx, CNN, BBC, Futurism, and NOS, to name a few.

Bob is the CEO and founder of Loop and was previously a Research Affiliate at MIT Media Lab. He has also worked as a biodesigner and material scientist, the inventor of the world's first living home, and as an architect at Studio Hendrikx. He has been a speaker at TED and a Visionaire and Founder at Super Power. He was named a member of 'The 100 young sustainable pioneers of The Netherlands' in 2017, 2018, and 2020 at DJ100.
