Derek Brin is a highly accomplished and award-winning music producer, sound designer, and mix engineer with a rich professional background covering over two decades. Brin's multi-platinum production credits include several major international television series and albums, Carnival hits, and guest speaking appearances on industry panels. He is also an established contributing composer for various stock music libraries such as TM Century's IMAGIO collection and the Nightingale Collection, as well as a recording engineer and programmer for Grammy-winning songwriter and recording artist Dan Hill.

Brin's expertise extends to drum and keyboard programming for heavyweight producers and songwriters like Diane Warren, Jud Friedman, Guy Roche, Alan Reich, and Jorgen Elofson. He has also served as the music director for Canada's largest charity gala, the Bell Celebrity Gala. He is passionate about making hot music and evolving his capabilities, and his skills have been showcased in numerous TV shows such as The Hills, Blue Murder, The Mom Show, and So You Think You Can Dance.

Brin has studied music, film, and jazz at Berklee College of Music and Humber College, computer programming at George Brown College, and accounting, law, and finance at the University of Toronto.
