Samer Karam is a versatile individual with a diverse background in manufacturing, hospitality, property management, writing, and conference organization.
Samer has been involved in exploring opportunities in Asia, founding a Lifestyle Brand in China and co-founding a Turnkey Property Management service in Vietnam since 2018.
He delves into the future of humanity through a better understanding of time and has been a rainmaker in emerging startup ecosystems.
In 2017, Samer embarked on a solo journey around Europe and the United States, covering 28,000 km and engaging in conversations across 100 cities and 25 countries, focusing on identity and culture.
Between 2014 and 2016, he organized Accelerate, one of the world's 10 largest conferences, with over 25,000 attendees across 86 countries, featuring notable speakers like Steve Wozniak and Tony Fadell.
Samer also founded Startup Megaphone in 2015 to promote Lebanon's startup ecosystem globally, executing successful activations in various international cities and publishing two books.
His involvement with the Central Bank of Lebanon included advising on startup investment, ecosystem building, and managing Circular 331, Lebanon's sovereign fund for startups.
In 2010, Samer established Seeqnce, Lebanon's first startup accelerator, which gained international recognition and saw its startups raise over $10 million.
Samer's educational background includes a PhD in Organizational Behavior Studies, an MSc in Information Systems, and a BSc in Computer Science, among other studies.
He has held various roles in organizations such as Founder & CEO at Hero Group, Founder & Chairman at Seeqnce, and Founder & Chairman at Startup Megaphone, to name a few.
